With the opening of a new route, relaxation has become more affordable.

Dubai Airlines, Flydubai, a low-cost carrier in the United Arab Emirates, operates regular flights to Male, the capital of the Republic of Maldives, 5 times a week. “We are pleased to add Male to our route network. We offer all travelers low-cost flights and excellent service, and we are confident that this destination will be in great demand,” said Gate Al Gate, CEO of Flydubai.

Among the members of the delegation who arrived in the Maldives on their first Flydubai flight, there were also representatives of Boeing, which in December 2012 participated in the process of putting into operation Flydubai recently released 737-800 aircraft. Constantly working to improve the quality of passenger service, Flydubai for the first time in the world organized a daily update of digital newspapers, access to which is provided through the on-board entertainment system. The eReader platform supports the display of 45 newspapers from around the world in seven languages. The on-board entertainment system has three modes - free (news, newspapers, information), and two paid packages.

It should be noted that the Maldives is especially popular among tourists from Russia, the CIS countries and the Council for Cooperation of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf (GCC). So, in the first quarter of this year, tourist flow to the country increased by 15.7%, compared with the same period last year. Currently, Flydubai operates flights to 16 cities of the CIS countries, Central and Eastern Europe, and also has more than 20 destinations in the Middle East in its route network.
