UAE company to release camel milk for children

In the United Arab Emirates, they launched the production of baby products from camel milk.

The UAE company - Emirates Industry for Camel Milk and Products, also known as Camelicious, presented a new product at the Gulfood 2018 exhibition, which was recently held in Dubai. Camelicious runs a farm that has developed a unique formula for a baby dairy product.

In addition to the new formula, the company produces more than 40 products from camel milk, including energy drinks, milk powder and ice cream.

Camelicious received a license to export camel milk in 2017.

Various studies have shown that camel milk contains 10 times more iron and three times more vitamin C than cow.

Said Juma Bin Subaich, Camelicious General Manager, said: "We have always sought to participate in the innovative activities that our wise leadership uses to develop the UAE and, in particular, Dubai."

Camel milk products for babies from one to three years old are expected to appear on the shelves of the UAE in the next few months, and then go abroad.

“Camel milk is an integral part of the Arab and Islamic culture in general, as well as the culture and heritage of the UAE. This milk really complements the values and traditions of the UAE, which are passed down from generation to generation,” Ben Subay said.
