The new acrobatic performance of the famous director and choreographer Daniele Finzi Pasca La verità (Pravda) will be available on August 21–31 at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center. The performance of La Veritá is a tribute to the genius of one of the greatest and most mysterious artists of the 20th century - Salvador Dali. The production combines elements of the circus, dance, theater and opera, as well as "some amazing elements" of the work of the Spanish artist, who created a special world of surrealism. The action takes place around the original canvas, written by the master in 1944 in New York for the ballet "Tristan and Isolda". He acts as a curtain and acts as a fundamental element of the play. At one time, Dali's canvas was bought by a private foundation, which, wishing to return it to the stage, gave it to Finzi: the latter, in turn, gave him a new life.
The premiere of the performance took place on October 25, 2013 in the Zurich Theater 11. In the reviews they wrote: “Everything in the play merges into one single gentle, slow action, which in general cannot work according to the rules of commercial show business, but which nevertheless gently captivates the audience with its spells in the wonderful world of dreams. And then you finally you understand that the question “What is the truth, brother?” is a very simple answer. La Verità is nothing more than the smell of mint candy hidden in the forest ... ”

Daniele Finzi Pasca was born in Lugano in 1964. He entered the circus world through gymnastics, and took his first steps in the arena under the guidance of clown Feri. In 1986, together with his brother Marco and Maria Bonzanigo, he founded the Teatro Sunil, where he staged 20 performances. According to his own script, he put on the Corteo show for Cirque du Soleil. He was the director of the closing ceremony of the XX Winter Olympic Games in Turin and the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. By the order of the Moscow International Chekhov Festival, he staged the play Donka - Message to Chekhov, in 2011 he staged Verdi on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater, in 2012 he again visited this famous theater, but this time with Requiem.
