Wealthy people consider the UAE a haven for investment

65% of wealthy residents of the United Arab Emirates surveyed are not going to change their place of residence in the next 5 years. Their choice fell on the UAE in due time due to the favorable economic climate created in the country and friendly policy towards investors making the UAE a "paradise for investment". This information is presented in a survey report conducted by Barclays Wealth in different countries of the world among 2000 wealthy people (HNWI): entrepreneurs, corporate executives and investors. 59% of respondents in the UAE believe that the country's investment climate will continue to improve.

As the most important reason that influenced their choice of a place to live and invest their capital, 33% named political stability, 43% economic security, 44% tax-free regime and a business-friendly environment. Government investment in infrastructure development and its focus on the health, tourism, education and housing sectors were identified as key reasons for positive predictions for the future.

Wealthy residents of the UAE are ready not only to take advantage of living in the country, but also to share their time and money with society through charity - 70% of respondents are engaged in it.
