On March 2 and 3, 2018, Abu Dhabi hosts the best triathletes. Abu Dhabi will host the first stage of the World Series in triathlon. Do not miss the chance to witness the opening of the ITU Triathlon World Series and watch the exciting race of world-class athletes.
In 2017, the whole world watched with bated breath over the fight to defend the championship title of British Jodi Stimpson and New Zealand athlete Andrei Hewitt, who wrested a victory from her opponent during the finish sprint. In a spectacular men's race, brilliant Spanish athlete Javier Gomez, a five-time ITU champion, won his first victory in Abu Dhabi, leaving behind Briton Tom Bishop. Not only world-famous stars will compete at the event: 3500 amateur triathletes and young athletes will be able to go the same distance as world champions, taking part in races for different age groups. Early registration for age groups is now available with a 10% discount.
