The award-winning and celebrity-inspired Indian restaurant Khyber in Dubai has launched an updated a la carte menu for 2018.
Khyber Restaurant, located on the 15th floor of DUKES Dubai on Palm Jumeirah, has presented an updated menu inspired by the North Indian roots of the establishment. Khyber mixes fresh and experimental dishes with classic offerings.
The Thali tasting concept offers visitors the opportunity to try a wide selection of popular a la carte snacks, main courses and desserts. A non-vegetarian menu costs 195 dirhams ($ US 53) per person, and a vegetarian menu costs 150 dirhams ($ US 40.8) per person. Both menus include soft drinks.
Delicious dishes in the updated menu are made from fish, lamb, chicken and vegetarian ingredients. The highlight of the menu is Tandoori Raan, a tender leg of lamb cooked in marinade in an clay oven; Reshmi Prawn, juicy shrimps marinated with aromatic spices and cooked in tandoor; and Vegetable Biryani, a dish that consists of Basmati rice, vegetable curry, saffron, rose water and nuts. The menu also features fourteen different types of Indian flat cakes - roti.
You can end the meal with a sweetness from a rich assortment of desserts, which includes Rasmalai, sweet cottage cheese dumplings served in sweetened flavored milk, garnished with pistachio nuts and almonds, and Gajar Ka Halwa, a dessert made from grated carrots, almonds, raisins made in sweetener .
Khyber's first restaurant, which opens outside of Mumbai's hometown, boasts panoramic views of Burj Al Arab and Dubai Marina. It accommodates up to 162 guests, including 40 visitors on the terrace.
