A mobile museum for schoolchildren has been launched in the emirate of Sharjah.
Dubai, UAE. In the emirate of Sharjah, a mobile museum for schoolchildren called the Museums Express has been launched. It is curious that the museum was built on the basis of a 47-seat bus. From the exhibition you can learn about the cultural heritage of the UAE.
The goal of the project is to develop a thirst for knowledge and creative thinking, as well as strengthen the status of Sharjah as a cultural center of the UAE. During the year, the bus will visit the central and eastern areas of Sharjah. The project was sponsored by the Sharjah Museum Management and Bee'ah waste management company.
Thanks to him, children from remote regions will be able to visit Sharjah museums, at the first stage - students from 14 schools who can learn more about traditional navigation and measuring instruments, such as the astrolabe and the compass of Ahmed bin Majid, known as the conqueror of the seas, and also look at a copy of the famous glider of the German aircraft designer Otto Lilienthal.
