Dubai, UAE. The largest telecommunications operators in the UAE - Etisalat and Du - reminded locals of the memorable date - November 30 (UAE Commemoration Day or Martyrs' Day). On the screens of smartphones appeared the inscription 30 Nov, which changed the traditional name of the network.

On this day, mourning events in memory of the fallen soldiers will be held on the territory of the country, at 11.30 a minute of silence will be announced. In addition, November 30 will be the first day of a long weekend, during which the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad and National Day of the UAE (December 2) will also be celebrated.

Recall that on August 19, 2015, the President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, declared November 30 as Martyrs' Day in memory of those who died while serving in their country.
