For the first time in the United Arab Emirates - Puccini's famous opera Madame Butterfly staged by the troupe of the Rostov State Opera and Ballet Theater. The Rostov State Opera and Ballet Theater celebrates its 75th anniversary this year with a big tour of Russian cities, the final chord of which will be a tour in the UAE. The repertoire of the theater includes more than 30 opera performances to the music of Tchaikovsky, Rossini, Verdi, Strauss and other composers. Opera "Madame Butterfly" is one of the most beloved productions in the theater. The soloist of the theater Irina Krikanova (soprano) was awarded the prestigious Russian award in the field of theatrical art "Golden Mask" in 2003 precisely for her performance of Madame Butterfly.
