The main event of the tourism industry in the autumn-winter season will be the 15th annual international tourism and travel exhibition "Rest 2009", which will be held from September 22 to 24 in the city of Moscow, in the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya.
The exhibition "Recreation" annually brings together under the same roof specialists in the field of tourism and hospitality, not only from Russia but also from abroad. She has a pronounced professional orientation. It is expected that over 600 companies from 78 countries of the world and regions of Russia will take part in it this year. The exhibition "Recreation" traditionally exhibits foreign host companies, representative offices for tourism of foreign countries, airlines, hotel chains, Russian tour operators for outbound and domestic tourism, cruise companies, motels, insurance companies, banks, business travel operators MICE and many others.
The time of the tourism and travel exhibition in September was not chosen by chance, since September is the period for preparing proposals for the high winter season, because, as tour operators admit, the first month of autumn is the most favorable moment for holding specialized tourism exhibitions aimed at developing the entire industry in the coming season.
