Dubai authorities have reduced the speed limit on the main emirate highways - E311 and E611.
Dubai, UAE. The Dubai Roads and Transport Committee has decided to reduce speed limits on the main emirate highways - Mohammed bin Zayed Highway and Emirates Road, also known as E311 and E611.
On both highways, the limit has been reduced from 120 to 110 km / h, radars are now “charged” at a speed of 131 km / h - this threshold cannot be exceeded.
The decision was a response to an increased number of traffic accidents. It is worth recalling that according to the results of 2016, it was the Mohammed bin Zayed Highway that was recognized as the most emergency route in the UAE.
