A platform for watching movies in streaming mode will appear in the UAE

Internet users in the UAE become available to view the streaming video offered by the American company Starz Play.

The American company Starz Play, a competitor to the Netfix streaming content platform inaccessible from the UAE, will offer its subscribers more than 3,000 films and television series for 50 dirhams per month. In the United States, the company has 57 million subscribers, its Middle Eastern branch, which operates in 17 countries, claims that 99% of films offered to viewers in the region are versions not edited by censorship of the UAE and other countries. Subscribers to the company should also have access to films that are prohibited from showing and selling in the UAE, for example, "50 shades of gray."

To access the company's video content, you do not need to use VPN connections, as for access to the Netfix platform. Using VPN connections to circumvent the limitations of Internet censorship in the UAE is a violation.

The company offers new subscribers a free viewing month, and the ability to select a language while watching a movie. The choice of languages will take into account the multinationality of the audience. Each subscriber will be able to register up to 5 devices from which he can watch movies, from a desktop computer to a smartphone, with the ability to simultaneously watch movies from two of the registered devices. Subscribers will also be able to control the content available to their children.

This project is Starz Play's first expansion beyond the US market.
