The cultural capital of the world

A new center for contemporary art will appear in Dubai
A new neighborhood entirely dedicated to contemporary art will appear in the center of Dubai, on Emaar Boulevard. The launch of this project, called the Quarter of the Museum of Modern Art and Opera, was announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.

The quarter, located in one of the busiest urban areas, will attract the attention of art lovers and improve the image of Dubai as one of the world's leading cultural capitals. Sheikh Mohammed said: "The cultural achievements of our country determine its character and individuality.

Demonstrating the possibility of organizing world-class cultural events, the United Arab Emirates has established itself as a thriving center for all types of arts. We will continue to develop infrastructure projects in this area and support cultural initiatives, including through projects such as the Quarter of the Museum of Modern Art and the Opera Theater. This will not only help reveal the talent of young artists, but will also facilitate international cultural exchange. "Several new galleries, two art hotels, as well as leisure facilities and housing of original design and architecture will be built on this territory. Construction work should begin soon .
