EMIRATE POET AL AKAILI MUSEUM TO APPEAR IN DUBAI

Dubai Municipality is preparing to open a new museum, which will be dedicated to the life and work of the Emirate poet Al Akayili. He will be equipped in the master’s apartment in an old house in Deira, where he lived and worked, and will become the 15th similar cultural site in the emirate. A memorial plaque will be hung on the wall of the house. “This year we are opening the 15th museum. Two more will appear before the end of the year. We will continue to continue this activity, because the museums preserve our culture and historical heritage,” said Rashad Bukash, director of the department of architectural heritage of the department.
