The Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge traditionally gathers world-class car and motorcycle racers to challenge the desert in the Al Gharbiya Western Region. The event is held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this year it starts and finishes on the Yas Marina Circuit track.
As in previous years, the fourth stage will be named Nissan, the length of its "throw" will be 317 km, the participants will have to overcome one of the most difficult sand landscapes in the world.
According to Dr. Mohammed bin Suleim, President of the UAE Automobile and Travel Club and the founder of the competition: "The partnership between Nissan and Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge has never been as strong as it is now. With our ten-year cooperation, we have set a new frontier for the success of joint activities in preparing international rally".
