The first public beach opened on the island of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi

Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), a leading developer of cultural, residential and tourist facilities in Abu Dhabi, opens the first public beach on the island of Saadiyat. It is assumed that the beach will be popular with both active youth and discerning lovers of sunbathing.

The public beach, next to the luxurious Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel, offers visitors a wide range of services, including sun loungers, showers and bathrooms, changing rooms, changing rooms, towels, umbrellas and parking for a large number of spaces. In the middle of summer, a beach bar with refreshing drinks, a shop for beachwear and sports equipment, and water activities such as windsurfing and sailing will be organized on the beach.

BAKE, the beach operator, is responsible for the safety of visitors and from 8 am to 8 pm, a lifeguard team will be on duty daily at the beach.

Ahmed Al Fahima, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at TDIC, said: “We are pleased that we were able to create a place of relaxation where not only the guests of the capital, but also the locals aspire. This is a kind of refuge where you can hide from the hustle and bustle of the city. "

The beach on Saadiyat has become a natural habitat for sea turtles, which crawl ashore annually in April and July to lay eggs in the sand. It has a unique location as it is close to luxury hotels such as St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, as well as the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and the famous Monte-Carlo Beach Club.

The public beach will be open daily from 8am to 8pm. Entrance fee is 25 dirhams (US $ 6.8) for adults and 15 dirhams (US $ 4.09) for children over six years old. For those who want to use the sun loungers, the cost is 50 dirhams (US $ 13.6) on weekdays and 75 dirhams (US $ 20.5) on weekends. In addition, guests can reserve a beach area for organizing parties and corporate events.
