AUSTRALIAN Actor Hugh JACKMAN BECAME THE NEW FACE OF THE MONTBLANC ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN. HIS PERFECT STYLE IN CLOTHES AND ELEGANCE PERFECTLY MEET THE TRADITIONS OF THE GLORIFIED GERMAN BRAND. Hugh, tell us how the idea of collaboration came about.
Hugh: I was really pleased when Montblanc offered to be part of their family. To be honest, I was always impressed by the style of the brand and the uniqueness of the products it creates. When such a legendary brand, with more than a century of history, offers cooperation, it is simply impossible to refuse.
What do you most expect from this collaboration?
Hugh: I admit, I really want to visit the company’s atelier in Hamburg, its owned watchmaking factories in Jura, Switzerland, as well as the Pelleteria factory in Florence. I like to watch with what inspiration and accuracy craftsmen create their products.
How do you feel about Montblanc's cultural initiatives for art?
Hugh: Unfortunately, in the field of art, you always have to fight for financial support, both public and private. But the desire of Montblanc to promote art in all its manifestations is very close to me. I know that for many years the company has been supporting artists, musicians, dancers, and even theater directors! And in this regard, I will always be happy to help and say my word in support.
How do you manage to travel from continent to continent so often and still cope with such a busy schedule?
Hugh: I try to keep myself in shape, eat right, try to rest as much as possible.
It’s very difficult to adapt to different time zones. And by the way, the Montblanc watch helps me keep up with the tight schedule, no matter where in the world I am.
What other projects are you participating in now?
Hugh: I am starring in Neil Blomkamp's new film called Chappie, which is being shot in South Africa. But I know that everyone is eager to find out about the further fate of Wolverine. I am truly glad that I was fortunate enough to play such a wonderful role. Of course, my hero will have a lot of interesting things in the future, but so far I have no right to reveal this secret!
