#MyDubai Initiative Collected One Million Photos

Dubai’s first photobiography #MyDubai, a project by Sheikh Hamdan bin Muhammad Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of the Emirate, in less than six months, has collected one million pictures with the hashtag of the same name on Instagram. Residents and guests of Dubai continue to "write" a patchwork portrait of their beloved city in all its diversity. To mark the achievement, the Dubai International Financial Center and Elevision Media presented the project with a giant 96-meter LED screen, the largest in the region, known as the DIFC Ticker. In addition, more than 300 screens have been installed in 75 buildings throughout the emirate: photos of participants in the initiative will be displayed on all. This will be a great addition to the campaign of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel, which displays the best photographs on its facade every last Thursday of the month.

Currently, the #MyDubai initiative has turned into a real online museum of photography, which has collected 1,018,952 photo exhibits. Each resident and guest of Dubai can enter their lines in this biography.
