River Park Appears in Dubai

The developer of the Dubai Parks & Resorts park complex, Meraas Holding, has announced plans to create the Riverpark and the central square in Dubai, which will combine the three theme parks - Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Park and Legoland.

The total area of ​​the park will be 120 thousand square meters, its center will be a 1 km long canal, on the banks of which cafes and shops will be located, and water taxis will glide along its surface. The promenades will be decorated with garden terraces. The main square of the park complex will become an arena for mass events; a tram route will be laid along the borders of the square to facilitate movement between individual parks. The park complex will be located in the Jebel Ali area, near the new Dubai Al Maktoum Airport. The first phase of its construction should be completed in 2016.
