According to Muhammad Al Mudarreb, director of rail transport at the Railways Agency of the Dubai Committee on Roads and Transport, the number of women and children transported has increased significantly in recent years, which has led to the need to expand the cabin designed for them. In order to familiarize passengers with the innovation that came into force on February 15, a special campaign was held. All signposts and information boards in the metro were replaced by new ones that help to easily identify the wagon for women and children. This innovation is part of the strategic plan of the Dubai Roads and Transport Committee to provide the highest level of service, comfort and convenience to Dubai metro passengers. The green and red line of the Dubai metro is in great demand among residents of various areas of the city, as well as among UAE guests who use the metro as their main vehicle.
