Michael Jackson on display at Lawrie Shabibi Gallery

Artist Adele Abidin dedicated his 16-minute video to King of Pop Michael Jackson, where the singer is interviewed on a pseudo talk show after the resurrection, which is broadcast on screen for a crowd of frantic fans in Time Square in New York. It seems that Jackson is extremely confused and afraid, gives evasive and surreal answers to the questions of the journalist. According to Abidin himself, the strong influence of pop culture on the modern world leads to a life built on an obsession with fame, eternal youth and wealth. The art project has already made a splash in the Kiasma Museum of Modern Art in Helsinki, where the artist lives. In the Lawrie Shabibi Gallery, the love of contemporary art can also be tested for strength also at the exhibitions of artists Larisa Sansur, Yazan Khalili, Nathaniel Rekou and Driss Oudahi, which will be open until September 10 this year.
