Bloomberg Square Mile Relay is a corporate competition series that offers corporate and financial services companies the opportunity to team up and compete for the title of “fastest company in the city.” In groups of 10 people, companies will race 1 mile, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and spirit.
From Dubai International Financial Center's Gate Building, the race will take place at Gate Avenue, an oasis of retail and fashion in the heart of Dubai's business center. Half of the seats are already filled with Dubai's leading financial and business brands such as HSBC, Barclays, J.P. Morgan and PwC participating in this event.
This year, the so-called The Extra Mile will be included, 25% of the participation fees for which will be donated by Emirates Red Crescent, which will direct funds to the annual program chosen by the race participants.
Bloomberg, the world leader in business information and news, is the main sponsor of the Bloomberg Square Mile relay race. The first race was held in London in 2007 and over the 11 years of its existence has already covered 12 cities.
