Al Shindagha Museum: New Emirate Heritage Museum

A new Emirate Heritage Museum called Al Shindagha Museum has opened in Dubai.

The Dubai Department of Culture and Arts has announced the opening of the new Emirate Heritage Museum Al Shindagha Museum, which has become part of the ambitious Dubai Historic District project of the Dubai Creek project.

The museum welcomes guests daily, from 10.00 to 18.00, except Tuesdays, and on Fridays it works from 14.30 to 21.00 and tells about the rich history of the UAE. The project is intended for those who want to plunge deeper into the local culture.

The exposition is divided into several sections: "State and society", "Creativity and prosperity", "Life on earth and at sea". In addition, a special section for children, corners of educational and public programs, an art center and a hall for temporary exhibitions are equipped.

In particular, in the hall "State and Society" you can learn about the ruling Al Maktoum family, the development of the urban landscape of Dubai - from traditional stone buildings to modern towers. In the "creative" section you can get acquainted with traditional crafts, perfumes and jewelry.
