French fashion brand Zadig & Voltaire and Russian Emirates magazine staged a fashion show at The Dubai Mall.
A closed preview of the 2017 spring-summer collection was held at Fashion Avenue in the Zadig & Voltaire boutique. Designers of the brand in the new season offer to create a bright, extravagant and at the same time sensual image. A woman, according to fashion designers, should remain a woman. Hence the airy chiffon, delicate embroideries framing the neckline on the blouses, and multi-layered outlines. An equally eccentric shoe complements the look: flat sandals decorated with glass beads, or python leather boots.
The main idea of the new season, according to brand founder Thierry Housing, the grandson of one of the creators of Lacoste, was to create an energetic, young, perky collection with Paris DNA and a pinch of grunge. Such a collection will feel good in the Middle East. Now is the time to pay attention to a leather jacket, ripped jeans and long cardigans from the best luxury fabrics. Of the accessories worth highlighting are hats, sunglasses and fur boas - they are prophesied to become hits of the season.
