The Ukrainian airline announced the launch of seasonal flights between Kharkov and Sharjah (UAE), which will be operated on a seasonal basis from March 2 to May 11.

Departures will be carried out once a week - on Saturdays, writes TsTS.

From Kharkov, the flight will depart at 10:30, in the opposite direction at 18:40 (local time).

It is noted that the Boeing 737-700, on which flights will be operated, will be based at Kharkov Airport.

The standard price for a one-way ticket starts from 4 thousand UAH (about 150 US dollars), subject to a flight without baggage.

However, as noted by SkyUp Airlines CEO Yevgeny Khaynatsky, the company plans to develop communication with this resort region, and Kharkov-Dubai flights are expected to be launched in the future.

“In 2018, Kharkiv Airport increased passenger traffic by 19% compared to 2017. We see a great potential of the region, therefore, we expand our cooperation in 2019. Now we are opening a seasonal regular flight Kharkiv-Sharjah-Kharkov, and after the repair is completed at Dubai Airport we plan to launch the Kharkov-Dubai-Kharkov flight. All of these are steps to implement the strategy for expanding the SkyUp Airlines flight program from the regions of Ukraine, ”said Heinatsky.
