UAE residents expect a 4-day weekend

Public and private sector workers in the UAE expect a 4-day weekend.

Dubai, UAE. In early December, public-private sector workers in the UAE expect a 4-day weekend to mark the 47th anniversary of state unification.

Holidays are announced on December 2, Sunday, and December 3, Monday. Thus, the first working day in December will be December 4, Tuesday.

This year, UAE National Day will be celebrated in a new format. In particular, the country's government called on citizens and residents to celebrate the achievements of the country, not individuals. So, the country's inhabitants can choose significant projects that Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president of the country and the Father of the nation, would praise.

Among the projects are the Dubai Canal, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, the Dubai Metro, the Museum of Unity and even the preparation of a mission to Mars. All these projects are historical achievements of the UAE. Everyone can vote on the website www.uaepioneers.gov.ae until November 18.
