Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Visits Egypt

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed paid an official visit to Cairo.

On Tuesday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed landed in Cairo, thereby starting his official visit to Egypt.

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE arrived at Cairo International Airport, where he was met by Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Khalil Al-Sisi.

Senior officials held a meeting in the VIP box of the airport, after which they went to the Etihadeya Palace in Cairo, where they discussed ways to strengthen and develop cooperation between the two countries, as well as problems of a regional and international level.

"The UAE and Egypt are united by long-standing strong relations, which become stronger every day," said Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed on his Twitter.

"Together, our countries will be able to overcome all the threats hanging over the region."

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi emphasized that cooperation between the two countries is of great importance for stability in the region, especially in an era of rapid changes that require constant interaction between the Arab states.

Mr. Sisi described that relations between the UAE and Egypt are a model of constructive cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, both sides reiterated their intention to develop relations between the two states and emphasized the possibility of strengthening stability in the region.

The delegation, led by Sheikh Mohammed, was also attended by other high-ranking officials of the UAE, for example, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, the Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security and others.
