In Dubai, the first Emirate ballerina will perform with the stars of the Bolshoi Theater

The first Emirate ballerina will enter the stage at the Emirates Palace along with soloists of the Bolshoi Theater.

On April 20, 2018, the ballet Corsair will be staged at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. Together with the soloists of the Bolshoi Theater Ivan Vasiliev and Maria Vinogradova, the first Emirate ballerina Alia Al Neyadi takes part in the production. The ballet troupe has 40 dancers.

The production takes place in the UAE under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and is organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi and FLASH Entertainment.

The upcoming three-act ballet tells the story of Corsair Conrad and the slave of Medora. Performers will bring to life the cult romantic and adventure scenes of pirate history and classical ballet based on the poem of Lord Byron.
