New rains in UAE caused by cloud sowing again

The United Arab Emirates has completed 6 cloud seeding operations this year.

Successful 6 cloud seeding operations were carried out in the UAE, starting Monday, January 8, confirmed the UAE National Center for Meteorology.

Omar Al Yazidi, director of research and development at the National Center for Meteorology, explained that operations were carried out in the eastern and northern regions of the UAE, as well as in Abu Dhabi and the western region.

Such operations lead to precipitation. On Tuesday, residents of the country felt a significant drop in temperature after rainfall the night before. Several roads in Abu Dhabi were flooded.

In its daily weather forecast, the meteorology center on Tuesday warned that minimum temperatures expected over the next two days would be 11-17 degrees Celsius in coastal areas, 7-15 degrees in the interior of the country and 5-11 degrees in mountainous. There is still a chance of showers along coastal areas, mainly in the western regions.
