A man stole 7 maids from Dubai Airport

7 foreign women who arrived in the emirate to work as servants were stolen from Dubai airport by trickery.

In Dubai, an unemployed man appeared before the court, who, according to the prosecution, kidnapped seven women of Asian descent from Dubai International Airport, pretending to be a recruiter.

The 29-year-old Egyptian told the victims that he was a representative of a company that was supposed to find a job as a maid for the girls, and took their passports and mobile phones. Then he drove them to an apartment, where he placed the abductees in different rooms and forbade them to leave the room.

The defendant also squandered the money of several people, to whom he showed fake labor contracts to servants.

The application for the man was filed on August 27, 2017. One of the victims said that she arrived in the UAE in July to work in an emirate family, at the invitation of a recruiting company from the emirate of Ajman. At the airport, she and other girls were met by the accused, who introduced himself as an employee of the company. He took them to Dubai and forbade the kidnapped to leave the apartment. Every day a woman came to them, who fed the girls and cleaned the rooms. Three days after the abduction, the woman forgot to lock the door, and the victims fled. They got to their recruiting agency. They later helped identify the kidnapper at the police station.
