During the holidays, parking in Dubai will be free.
Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announces that parking in Dubai will be free from Sunday, December 31, to celebrate the New Year. The fee will be charged again from Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
All paid parking areas will be free, with the exception of multi-level ones.
The RTA also announced an adjusted schedule for all public transport during the holidays.
Dubai's red metro line will run from 5am to midnight Sunday, December 31st, and the green line stations will be open from 5:30 to 00:00.
The tram will run from 6 AM on Monday until 1 AM on Tuesday.
From December 31 to January 1, major bus stations such as Gold Souk will operate from 4:25 a.m. to 12:29 p.m. Al Ghubaiba Station will operate from 4:16 a.m. Minor stations such as Satwa will be available from 5am to 11pm, with the exception of Route C01, which operates around the clock.
