Abu Dhabi will be fined for interfering with transport

From December 1, Abu Dhabi will begin to charge a fine for leaving vehicles on the road after minor accidents.

From December 1, 2017, motorists in Abu Dhabi who became participants in minor accidents but did not move vehicles to the sidelines will be fined 500 dirhams ($ 136). Thus, the police want to deal with obstructions to traffic.

General Ahmed Abdullah Al Shehi, deputy director of the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrol Directorate, called on drivers whose vehicles have been involved in minor traffic accidents and which have experienced sudden breakdowns to move them to the side of the road.
