The Dubai government has developed various initiatives in support of cruise tourism, which facilitates and accelerates the processing of documents.

Simplified visa procedures have also been introduced at the Dubai General Directorate for Accommodation and Foreigners, including issuing visas exclusively for cruise tourists.
