Born in 1962 in the city of Alma-Ata. At the end of AGTHI them. T.Zhurgenova in 19888 left for distribution in Karaganda, where he lived happily and happily for ten years. During this time he participated in international foreign, all-Union, republican exhibitions, and also held twenty-three personal ones. For eighteen years of active creative life, he has created more than a thousand works in painting, graphics, photography, ceramics and in "contemporary art". He published poetry in periodicals and glossy magazines. In 1998-1999 he worked in the United States under a resident program. He participated in a symposium on ceramics in the city of Nescuinn (Oregon, USA). Participant of the workshop "Master Class" in Uralsk (Kazakhstan). Winner of the TARLAN Prize for 2003 in the nomination "Visual Arts".
Since 2000, lives and works in his own studio in the gorge of the Talgar River.
Andrey's works are in various art galleries around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow, the Museum of Modern Art in Astana (Kazakhstan), the Gallery of Modern Art in Pescara (Italy), the Freed Gallery in Lincoln City (USA) and many others .
Recently, there was a personal exhibition of Andrei Nod's works at the Emirates Towers Boulevard in Dubai (UAE).
