Earthworks at the mega-project Emirates City (Emirate of Ajman), conducted by the main contractor, Tech Group, are moving fast. Tech Group is a newly created holding company, which includes its divisions - Construction Tech, Remix Tech, Aluglass Tech, Block Tech and Piling Tech and several other companies. The management of the holding announced the completion of important work on one of the largest projects in the emirate of Ajman and the development of about 1 billion dirhams.
Among a number of large-scale projects being implemented in Ajman today and designed to significantly increase the economic potential of this emirate, Emirates City is a truly mega-project. Suffice it to say that its total value is about 15 billion dirhams (more than 4 billion US dollars).
One of the Tech Group holding’s divisions, Block Tech, is one of the largest concrete producers in the UAE, and the company’s capacity continues to grow. This company makes a significant contribution to the implementation of the Emirates City project. Other holding units are not far behind. Thus, Remix Tech, which produces 400 cubic meters of concrete every hour at five concrete plants, delivers this hot commodity to all the major construction sites of the project. Her sister company, Construction Tech, received an order for the construction of three high-rises, called Paradise Lakes Towers (“Towers of Lake Paradise”), worth a total of 250 million dirhams, while Piling Tech carried out work on driving piles and building foundations for an impressive amount of 500 million dirhams (136 million US dollars).
Speaking about the important role that Tech Group plays in the construction of Emirates City, its CEO Ali Ghalib Jaber noted: “The Emirates City project is one of the largest construction projects not only in Ajman, but also in the UAE as a whole. Emirates City is located just a 20-minute drive from Dubai International Airport, right next to the Emirates Road, which links Ajman to the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The project includes more than 90 residential and commercial facilities. Picturesque lakes, green parks, a shopping district, mosques, five-star hotels, medical and educational institutions will also be built here.
