The well-known watch brand Roger Dubuis celebrated the next anniversary of its existence in the status of one of the most popular and dynamically developing watch companies. Behind this undoubted success is the figure of Carlos Diaz, who in 1995 founded the manufactory, known today as Societe Genovoise des Montres.
Collection Excalibur. An excellent example of this forward movement is the Excalibur collection. We are talking about uniquely complex designs, in which two synchronous tourbillons are connected with a differential, forcing them to rotate at the same speed in opposite directions, which draws attention to the dial, as if revived thanks to two stands of a “soaring”, unsecured tourbillon.
Fly-tourbillon, or “soaring” tourbillon, is one of the most spectacular types of tourbillon, creating the effect of free-floating stand. In this case, the effect is enhanced by two stands, which I want to compare with two dimensionally pulsating hearts.
Collection Kingsquare. The Roger Dubuis Kingsquare men's and women's watch collection was first introduced by the company in 2008. Since then, it is periodically replenished and expanded. The inspiration for the extravagant men's watch with the Roger Dubuis Kingsquare Tourbillon tourbillon (40 mm) was the shape of the square. Three faces of sapphire crystal on the dial create a special refraction effect when viewing. The case is made of gray, pink gold or fashionable titanium combined with white or black rubber.
Two male and one female models of the Kingsquare collection have a “soaring” tourbillon, there is also a jewelry version of this watch with a loose diamond set.
