Abu Dhabi Airport Passenger Flow Increases 13.8% in First Quarter

According to Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), the passenger flow in Abu Dhabi International Airport increased 13.8% in the first quarter of 2010 compared to the same period last year.

The total number of passengers who used the services of the international capital airport of the United Arab Emirates during the first quarter of this year amounted to 2,578,920 people. During the same period, the number of aircraft flying through the airport of the UAE capital has increased. The increase amounted to 13.9% or 27 thousand aircraft of airlines from around the world. The increase in freight traffic reached 22.2% and amounted to 100,378 tons.

According to ADAC, Abu Dhabi - Bangkok flights became the most popular and sought after airport route in the first quarter, followed by London, followed by Doha, then Manila and Manama.
