Honda withdraws from the UAE 245 cars with faulty brakes

The Japanese company Honda has confirmed information about the recall from the United Arab Emirates of 245 cars sold before 2008, due to a malfunction of the brake system. Problems with the brakes were found in the Odyssey and Element 2007 and 2008 models. The official Honda dealer in the UAE, Trading Enterprises, indicated that only the Odyssey model was sold in the Emirates.

As follows from the official letter of the second largest Japanese automaker, in these Honda models, air enters the brake system, which significantly reduces its functionality. The malfunction was identified after several accidents occurred in the USA related to the malfunctioning of the brake system on the above car models. A total of 453,000 cars worldwide will be recalled.
