The operator of a large chain of luxury hotels in Dubai, the company Jumeirah Group, has unveiled the new brand name of its first resort complex, which is currently under construction in the Maldives. The new resort hotel in the Maldives, owned by the Jumeirah Group, was named Jumeirah Dhevanafushi. It will consist only of deluxe rooms and will receive its first guests in early 2011. The resort complex is located on the Gaafu Alifu Atoll, 400 km from the capital of the Maldives - Male.

The resort provides for the creation of 22 island villas and 16 villas called the Hermitage Collection, located slightly away from the atoll near the ocean. Of particular note are Revives and Sanctuaries villas of 200 m² and 400 m², respectively, with amazing views of the ocean, direct access to the beach and 24-hour butler service. For the convenience of guests, the hotel provides for the creation of three restaurants, a bar, and a Talise spa.

The second hotel, which the Jumeirah Group plans to open in the Maldives in March 2011, will become the family-run five-star resort of Jumeirah Vittaveli.
