Snap Inc begins regional expansion to become better acquainted with advertisers and partners from the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As noted, the advertising company will create the same company that developed consumer. There will be two types of advertising products - sponsorship content (for example, like geofilters and lenses), as well as full-screen video advertising.
It is worth recalling that the Snapchat application, which was launched in 2011 under the name Picaboo, today has a daily audience of 150 million users who create 2.5 million videos per day. Last year, the company reported a profit of US $ 404.5 million.
Along with the Snapchat application, the company is developing a new product called Spectacles - glasses with thin video cameras that connect directly to Snapchat via Bluetooth or wifi and broadcast online directly to the application.
